MOLECULAR DIAGNOSTICS
This offer represents only a portion of the assays/procedures offered by ALAB bioscience to demonstrate the versatility and flexibility of the tests we offer.
Each project is treated individually.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our research coordinators and find out more about our offer of support in ongoing projects and studies.
ALAB bioscience provides customer service from the logistics of sample collection and transport, through isolation, preservation, banking to molecular analysis and interpretation of results.
Isolation and material logistics:
-
Isolation of genetic and protein material
-
Isolation of material from histological block (FFPE)
-
Transportation of material under refrigerated conditions
-
Banking of material at -20°C and -80°C
-
Weekly temperature reports (upon request)
Automation of the process:
ALABbioscience offers automatic and large-scale isolation of genetic material:
-
RNA
-
DNA
-
RNA/DNA
-
Selection of equipment tailored to your needs
-
Short implementation time
You also have the FlowBot One automatic pipetting station at your disposal:
-
High repeatability
-
Low dead volume
Isolation of material from the histological block
Laser microdissection – enables the isolation of material from a selective area of tissue on a histological preparation:
• Microdissection of areas eg area of inflammatory infiltration or cell hyperplasia
• Microdissection of individual cell groups, eg lymphocytes, atypical epithelia
• We work with both HE-stained and unstained preparations
From the block and histological preparation to the transcript:
• We isolate genetic material from paraffin blocks and then evaluate it qualitatively
and quantitatively selected genes by customers
Real Time PCR:
• Genotyping
• Gene expression assessment, including complex gene panels
Protein analysis
As part of ALAB bioscience's offering, we enable you to:
-
Isolation of protein fractions and measurement of their concentration from any material in your possession.
-
Identification of individual proteins in a sample and analysis of their quantitative differences between samples, as well as identification of entire protein profiles.
-
Analyzing post-translational changes in proteins and assessing the expression of surface and intracellular antigens, as well as tracking their localization in the cell over time.
ELISA:
-
Identification of antigens
-
Identification of antibodies
-
Spectrophotometric assays
Immunohistochemistry:
